Rant.
Every girl and her cat wants to be a “pinup”, and to be honest this really shits me. For starters, the women of the 40/50’s era would of NEVER pierced their cheeks and dye their hair flamingo pink. They showed class and new how to hold themselves around people and in front of a camera. Just because you can pull a cheeky smile at a 50’s inspired soda cafe does not mean you can say you are a pinup. You look more like a skank, I’m so sick of mainstream people dishing out abuse to people who dress differently or look different or act, and then only to try and look exactly the same as the ones they once abused only 3 months previous. It’s not just a fashion statement we get bored of in 5 months time, we live day to day like this.
